Community Conventions

You agree to:

1. Be just.

3. Be honest and of goodwill.

4. Keep all information here.

   - No posting / sharing of content from here to elsewhere without the full permission of those involved (authors and subjects), and with full transparency as to the authors, subjects, and the specific permission given. Any permission given may be revoked at any time by the authors (or possibly the subjects), and any external posts or data stores must be purged of that data if revoked by the author and/or subject. No list compilation or lead generation outside of approved, platform-residing, opt-in subscription systems. No search engine snippets allowed beyond Ida B. Wells MDN approved infrastructure. No tracking and no data mining, ever!

5. Be who you say you are.

   You may use a nickname/moniker solely to protect your privacy and not to impersonate someone. If you are uncomfortable with what you are being asked, you may refuse to answer. Additionally, you agree not to share your credentials/account access with others. One individual, one account.

Using this platform (website/platform/app/online community), becoming a subscriber or contributor, commenting, making a donation or purchasing merchandise binds you to everything on this page. Please read carefully.

Declaration of Electronic Signature by Action or Use

The parties agree that this Agreement is executed and delivered by electronic signatures, and that any electronic signatures appearing on (or in relation to) this Agreement are the same as handwritten signatures for the purposes of validity, enforceability, and admissibility. This includes a bot or search engine visiting this site to index it, or any program or human visiting the site (by any means, directly or indirectly, or via any other party) that creates a log entry on our platform—the log entry is the signature. It may also be indicated by ticking traditional agreement boxes such as “I agree to the Terms and Conditions,” “I agree to the Community Conventions,” or “I agree to the Privacy Policy.”

While defending political speech/media can be a struggle, and there are bold and loud actions taken, we need to be mindful of the power of community and differing voices. Heated discussion is fine when we also have care, concern, and respect for others' options and the right to be heard. At the core of our principles, honesty is essential. We call others out when they are deceptive or untruthful; thus, we hold truth and honesty as our litmus.

Failure to Comply:

We reserve the right to refuse service and access to anyone not adhering to the above rules or our requests. Additionally, we reserve the right to cancel any subscription or donation and/or terminate an order for any subscription or donation already made, if, in our sole opinion, we feel they have violated these terms or refused any safety, security, privacy, or information request, and we reserve the right to do so without any refund.
